Under 75th Azadi Ka Mahautsav, an event is conducted due to celebration of Breastfeeding week on 05/08/2022 in Village Nagoke by our Angandwadi Workers and supervisors Harbhajan kaur nd Daljit Kaur under the supervision of CDPO Malkiat Kaur.By the instructions of health Department to women to only provide breast milk to newly born babies up to 6 months. In this event, around 28 pregnant and nursing mothers were participated.Breast milk promotes immunity for fighting infectious diseases of newborn babies,beneficial for digestion and overall growth.So individuals mainly pregnant ladies are advised to take iron rich diet i.e beans, fortified cereals.Breast feeding mothers should add iron rich diet for optimal growth of their babies.Pregnant ladies and nursing mothers are welcomed by the Supervisors.
