How to Reach

Tarn Taran is one of the important cities of Punjab and owing to this very reason,  Though it has no airport of its own, yet it is easily accessible from Amritsar airport, which is located at a close proximity from Tarn Taran. By Flight

Tarn Taran does not have an airport. Nearest Airport is Shri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport Amritsar, about 40-45 km of Tarn Taran. It has a chain of flights operating both within and outside the country. Various domestic flights, like Indian Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines, and Spice Jet, come in and go out of this airport at, regular intervals. It is connected to other parts of the country by regular flights. Several airlines operate flights from abroad, including Birmingham, Dubai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Doha. The airport handles as many as 48 flights every week up from the occasional, intermittent ones some years ago.

By Bus

You can drive into Tarn Taran from neighboring states and Cities of Punjab. Bus services also connect Tarn Taran with most north Indian States & towns, including Haryana (350 Kms),Beas,Bathinda, Moga, Kapurthala, Ferozpur, Faridkot,Mansa, Barnala.

By Train

Tarn Taran falls on the Amritsar- Ferozpur railway line. A train from Amritsar to Tarn Taran connected with other cities of Punjab. The city is connected by rail to major places both within and outside Punjab, like Haryana, Faridkot, Ferozpur,  etc.
