Aapda Mitras did demo training on rope rescue

Under the leadership of Prof. J.S. Bhatia, a panel of eminent trainers conducted demo training of rope rescue to the volunteers.

To provide relief during any kind of natural or man-made disaster in the country Government of India, NDMA, SDMA Punjab, DDMA Tarn Taran and Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh started a 12-day Aapda Mitra training camp few days ago in Tarn Taranb in which two batches of 150 volunteers each at Seva Devi College, Tarn Taran and Shaheed Bhagat Singh School, Patti are being prepared to deal with any disaster by providing training, demo training and mock drill rehearsals to deal with fire, accident or other disasters. In this training camp, volunteers are being trained by his team under the leadership of Jog Singh Bhatia (Course Director and Senior Consultant, Magsipa). In this sequence, today on the 7th day, demo training of rope rescue was given to the volunteers and lectures were given by the trainers on drug abuse. On this occasion, Prof. Bhatia told the media that under his leadership, his team is preparing 3200 fully trained Aapda Mitra volunteers in Punjab, in which 300 volunteers are being prepared in Tarn Taran district, who will work with the district administration at the time of any disaster. He said that the volunteers have been trained to save the injured person in a road accident and these volunteers will be able to save the injured person in any road accident.
