DM Tarn Taran order completely prohibit the following activities within a radius of 100 meters of the above polling stations/booths of District Tarn Taran from 4.00 PM on 16.01.2026 to 18.01.2026 (till the completion of the election process) in order to ensure free, fair and peaceful conduct of these elections and to strictly comply with the instructions and rules of the State Election Commission, Punjab:-

1. Gathering/activities of five or more persons (other than voters standing in queue) within 100 metres of the polling station will be prohibited.

2. Voting or appeals will be prohibited within 100 meters of the polling station.

3. No political party, contesting candidate will set up their booth/tent within 100 meters of the polling station.

4. No election-related political party/candidate poster/banner will be placed within 100 meters of the polling station.

5. The use of cellular phones/cordless phones/wireless sets/loud speakers/etc. will be prohibited within 100 meters of the polling station. Election observers posted on election duty, police officers, security personnel posted on duty, polling related personnel will be exempted from this.

6. No person shall be permitted to take his/her private vehicle within 100 meters of the polling station except a person authorized by the State Election Commission, Punjab, District Election Officer and the concerned Returning Officer.

7. Any activity within 100 meters of the polling station that affects the election process will be completely prohibited.
