On the occasion of 75 Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav & Environment Day, an awareness camp was organized in the village Bhalojla on dated 08.08.2022 by Mohandeep Singh Block Officer Rayya Block, Forest Division Amritsar. In the camp, School Students were given information about the benefits of trees. There’s popular slogan ‘Each one, plant one’. This saying urges all human beings to plant at least one tree in their life time. They were also made aware not to burn the paddy stubble as it emits large amount of toxic pollutants in the atmosphere. It causes health hazards. It leads to the loss of moisture and useful microbes. People were also given information about the schemes I Hariyali, Agro Forestry. We started the event by planting trees. School Students ar promised us to start some NGO to plant more trees in their village.
