DM Tarn Taran order to completely prohibit the burning of wheat stubble after harvesting within the limits of District Tarn Taran.

DM Tarn Taran order regarding complete ban on harvesting wheat by combines and on the operation of combines on National Highways/State Highways and Link Roads with blades fitted in front of them within the limits of District Tarn Taran from 07.00 PM to 10.00 AM.

DM Tarn Taran order ban on carrying any type of licensed weapon, ammunition, explosive material, deadly weapon etc. within the limits of Sub-Division Patti and Bhikhiwind and also order all arms license holders within the limits of Sub-Division Patti and Bhikhiwind who receive such notice/order issued by the office of the District Magistrate, Tarn Taran or Additional District Magistrate, Tarn Taran, on the recommendation of the District Screening Committee, to deposit their arms and ammunition with the local police station or approved arms dealers within 07 days of receipt of such notice/order.

DM Tarn Taran order prohibit the assembly and activities of 5 (five) or more persons within a radius of 100 meters around the counting place Sri Guru Hargobind Singh, Government High School (Boys) Kairon and Government Polytechnic College (PTU Building) from 26/05/2026 to 29/05/2026 (till the counting of votes completed)

DM Tarn Taran order complete restrictions on the following activities within a radius of 100 meters of all polling stations/booths designated for the Municipal Council Patti and Nagar Panchayat Bhikhiwind elections on 26-05-2026, in order to ensure that the elections are conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner:

1. Gathering of five or more persons (except voters standing in queues) and related activities shall be prohibited.
2. Campaigning for votes or making any appeal for votes shall be prohibited.
3. No political party or contesting candidate shall set up any booth/tent.
4. Display of any notice or symbol related to the elections (except authorized notices) shall be prohibited.
5. No posters/banners of any political party or contesting candidate related to the elections shall be displayed.
6. Use of cellular phones, cordless phones, wireless sets, loudspeakers, etc. shall be prohibited. However, election observers, police officers, security personnel on duty, and polling staff deployed for election duty shall be exempted from this restriction.
7. No person shall be allowed to take a private vehicle inside the restricted area except those authorized by the State Election Commission, Punjab, the District Election Officer, or the concerned Returning Officer.
8 .Any kind of activity that may influence or affect the election process shall be completely prohibited.

DM Tarn Taran order restrictions on the following activities from 5:00 PM on 24.05.2026 till 26.05.2026 within the jurisdiction of Municipal Council Patti and Nagar Panchayat Bhikhiwind, in order to ensure the free, fair, and peaceful conduct of these elections:

1.Under Section 110 of the Punjab State Election Commission Act, 1994, there shall be a complete prohibition on any person holding, organizing, or participating in any public meeting within the polling area.
2.The presence/activities of voters/persons belonging to areas outside the voting jurisdiction (Municipal Council Patti and Nagar Panchayat Bhikhiwind) shall be completely prohibited.

The bidding for Canteen and Parking  at the SDM Office Tarn Taran, will be conducted on the morning of 30/03/2026 at 11:00 AM.
