DM Tarn Taran order completely prohibit the following activities within a radius of 100 meters of the said counting centers from 4.00 PM on 14.12.2025 to 17.12.2025 in order to ensure free, fair, peaceful conduct of these elections and to strictly comply with the instructions and rules of the State Election Commission, Punjab

1. Assembly/activities of five or more persons (other than officers/employees assigned on election duty) within 100 meters of polling stations shall be prohibited.

2. No person shall be allowed to take his/her private vehicle within 100 meters of the polling stations except a person authorized by the State Election Commission, Punjab, District Election Officer and the concerned Returning Officer.

3. Any activity that affects the election process within 100 meters of polling stations will be completely prohibited.

DM Tarn Taran order declare a “Dry Day” in all the villages falling under the jurisdiction of the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti, from 00:00 hrs on 14-12-2025 to 10:00 A.M on 15-12-2025, and completely prohibit the opening of liquor shops, sale of liquor and storage of liquor. These orders shall also apply to hotels, clubs and liquor premises etc. where sale of liquor is legally permitted

DM Tarn Taran order completely prohibit the following activities within a radius of 100 meters of all polling stations in District Tarn Taran from 4.00 PM on 12.12.2025 to 14.12.2025 in order to ensure free, fair, peaceful conduct of these elections and to strictly comply with the instructions and rules of the State Election Commission, Punjab

1. Gathering/activities of five or more persons (other than voters in queue) within 100 metres of the polling station will be prohibited.

2. Voting or appeals will be prohibited within 100 meters of the polling station.

3. No political party, contesting candidate will set up their booth/tent within 100 meters of the polling station.

4. No election-related political party/candidate poster/banner will be placed within 100 meters of the polling station.

5. The use of cellular phones/cordless phones/wireless sets/loud speakers/etc. will be prohibited within 100 meters of the polling station. Election observers posted on election duty, police officers, security personnel posted on duty, and employees related to polling will be exempted from this.

6. No person shall be permitted to take his/her private vehicle within 100 meters of the polling station except a person authorized by the State Election Commission, Punjab, District Election Officer and the concerned Returning Officer.

7. Any activity within 100 meters of the polling station that affects the election process will be completely prohibited.

DM Tarn Taran order prohibit the following activities in District Tarn Taran from 4.00 PM on 12.12.2025 to 14.12.2025 for the purpose of conducting these elections in a free, fair, peaceful manner and in strict compliance with the instructions and rules of the State Election Commission, Punjab

1. As per Section 110 of the Punjab State Election Commission Act, 1994, there shall be a complete ban on any person holding, organizing or attending any public meeting in the polling area.

2. There will be a complete ban on the presence/activities of voters/individuals outside the Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti zones.

DM Tarn Taran order that the shops selling meat and liquor etc. located on/near the said route of the Nagar Kirtan shall remain closed on 21-11-2025 during the Nagar Kirtan within the limits of the district of Tarn Taran.

DM Tarn Taran order a ban on carrying any type of licensed weapon, ammunition, explosive material, deadly weapon etc. within the limits of District Tarn Taran and also order all those arms license holders of District Tarn Taran who receive such notice/order issued by the office of the District Magistrate on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, to deposit their arms and ammunition with the local police station or approved arms dealers within 07 days of receipt of such notice/order

DM Tarn Taran order prohibit the assembly and activities of 5 (five) or more persons within a radius of 100 meters around the counting venue, International College of Nursing, Pindi, District Tarn Taran, from 6:00 PM on 11.11.2025 to 14.11.2025

DM Tarn Taran hereby declare a “Dry Day” in the Vidhan Sabha Constituency-021 Tarn Taran and its 3 km area from 06:00 PM on 09-11-2025 to 06:00 PM on 11-11-2025 (voting day) and counting of votes on 14-11-2025. I hereby completely prohibit the opening of liquor shops, sale of liquor and storage of liquor. These orders shall also apply to hotels, clubs and liquor premises etc. where sale of liquor is legally permitted.

DM Tarn Taran order hereby declare 11-11-2025 as a Paid Holiday in all government/non-government offices, banks, institutions, factories, shops etc. of Assembly Constituency-021 Tarn Taran
