Series of events are being celebrating 75th Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav under leadership of Deputy Commissioner Tarntaran Sh.Moneesh Kumar and under guidance of Civil Surgeon Tarntaran.Dr seema With District Immunization Officer cum Nodal officer Dr Varinder Pal .District level meeting contuct regarding Breast feeding week with all SMO and concerned departments (Social welfare department and Department of Women and Child Development )in which promotion / awareness of breastfeeding and infant and young feeding practices done.. All SMOs have to supervise activities at all headquarters. Like seminar / webinar and Sensitisation of Staff for early and exclusive breastfeeding in normal and caesarean delivery. And in all govt / pvt hospitals . COVID protocols are being stressed to be taken care of while doing sensitization activities.ASHA are instructed to utilise Mother’s Absolute Affection info kit and MAA flip chart for counselling.. Other departments also have to promote. Breastfeeding wk in field . By conduct. Group discussion / awareness lectures / webinar
