DM Tarn Taran order regarding ban on Any unknown person whose identity has not been verified by the owner of the cyber café and STD/PCO should be prohibited from using the cyber café and STD/PCO services

DM Tarn Taran order that there shall be a ban on taking out processions, holding meetings, making speeches through loudspeakers, and sitting on dharnas etc. within a radius of 100 meters of the District Court complex

DM Tarn Taran ban order that within the limits of the Panchayats of District Tarn Taran, for which bye-elections are going to be held on 27-07-2025, carrying of any type of licensed weapon, explosive material, deadly weapon etc., which can be used to disturb peace and tranquility, is prohibited and all arms holders falling within the limits of these Panchayats shall deposit all types of licensed weapons with their nearest police station or registered arms dealers.

DM Tarn Taran order regarding in the villages of District Tarn Taran where Panchayat elections are going to be held, in the area falling within the revenue limits, on 27-07-2025 (00:00 Hours) and 28-07-2025, I will be conducting a “Dry Day” at 10.00 a.m.

This order is passed unilaterally keeping in view the urgency of the matter and is in the name of the general public.

DM Tarn Taran order with the instructions issued by the State Election Commission, Punjab, in order to conduct the election process peacefully, smoothly and maintain law and order, on the election day, dated 27:07.2025, I order the imposition of the following restrictions within a radius of 200 meters of the polling booths constructed in the district of Tarn Taran:-

1. No campaigning will be done by any candidate/person/supporter at the polling booths/public/private places. No person will be allowed to make noise/roar near the polling booths.

2. No person shall use loudspeakers/wireless speakers/cordless phones/cellular phones 200 megawatts etc. within the radius of the polling booths. This order shall not apply to observers, administrative police officers posted on election duty, security personnel posted on duty, government employees related to polling counting.

3. No posters or banners related to propaganda will be put up.

4. No political party candidate contesting the election shall set up his polling booth/tent within a radius of 200 meters of a polling booth.

5. No person except the State Election Commission Punjab District Election Officer Tarn Taran or a person authorized by the concerned Returning Officer shall take his private vehicle within a radius of 200 meters of any polling booth.

ADM Tarn Taran order regarding completely Ban on firework displays by the general public including bombs, air crackers and Chinese crackers during weddings, joyous celebrations and religious festivals within the limits of District Tarn Taran. This order came into effect on 08-05-2025 on 06-07-2025
